Musicians wanted to
form large(ish) band to play 70s electric jazz.
I envisage playing material from that era by
Miles, Herbie Hancock, Mahavishnu, etc.
Riff-based jams with minimum structure, but
enough to prevent things ending up in a cul-de-sac.
Quiet moments to outrageous screaming horn
and guitar-fests.
Perhaps go the whole
hog and have a Miles-esque line-up including two
drummers and two bassists – am open to ideas.
